Meet Gabby

After starting her career in the medical field as a Surgical Technologist, working in open heart surgery, Gabby realized her true calling to real estate when she started working at Trueblood Real Estate.

Read Gabby's story about her experience at TRE and what advice she has for you.

I had my mind set on working with another team...until I met with Trueblood Real Estate

I was originally pretty set on working with another team in the area but I had met Josh Carpenter who introduced me to Trueblood Real Estate and from there I fell in love with everyone and everything TRE had to offer.

The culture at Trueblood Real Estate is like I've never experienced before...

Everyone is very open and outgoing at TRE. I’ve probably met more friends here than in high school or college. Everyone is super nice and super helpful, it's a great atmosphere to be in. Everyone at Trueblood always has your back with tips or anything that you need to do, and that's something you can't find everywhere.

My favorite part of work? How friendly everyone is. We’ll all go out and get drinks, and Jim has a Topgolf card which is really fun — I love that part!

How does Jim and Trueblood Real Estate support you?

Being on Jim's team is a huge benefit. Jim is always available. No matter what time I text him, he'll always text or call me right back and is able to answer any questions I have. Being a newer agent, you don't realize there are a lot of fees in the business. When you go to list a house, just getting professional photos taken and edited before you show homes can be expensive. Things can add up quickly, but being on Jim's team he covers all of that which is really nice.

I also really like how we get leads here. Starting out as a new agent, it can be difficult to get leads. At another company I interviewed with, they said to be prepared to sell just 1 or 2 houses your first year and that it's pretty hard to get going. But at Trueblood, I've already closed 4 deals since November and because we are on Jim's team, I get leads from Zillow which is really nice. TRE is really there to help you learn and grow.

What is the office like?

The atmosphere here is so nice and friendly. I am in a group chat with a few other coworkers ranging from someone who is 50 years old to someone like me who is 24. We all get along so well!

Gabby's Advice to You

My advice to you is that if you're just starting out in the real estate industry, join a team. When you're new, it's so helpful to have people to guide you, be there to back you up, and learn from, and that's exactly what I found here at Trueblood Real Estate.
