Ryan has spent his entire life in the Hoosier state. He was born in Warsaw, Indiana, and moved with his family to the south side of Tippecanoe county in 1979. At that time, Veterans Memorial Parkway was still a short stretch of gravel road known as 350 South and Sonya Margerum had just been elected mayor of West Lafayette. Tippecanoe county has grown and prospered so much over the last forty plus years and Ryan has been here for all of it.
Ryan is no stranger to the real estate market. He spent weekends and summers during his adolescence working with his father building decks and fences throughout the county. After high school, he managed the daily operations of his family’s construction business. He first obtained his real estate license in 1998 and worked as a buyer’s agent. He went on to open his own hardwood flooring business where he continued to build his reputation of honesty and integrity. With fifteen years in the retail industry and eleven years in the foodservice industry, he has learned the difference between good customer service and the art of true, genuine, and selfless Hoosier hospitality.
After graduating with his BS in accounting, he was recruited to teach accounting fundamentals to college students. He will use education and patience to help his clients navigate their way through the home buying and selling process.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys reading, learning, and working in and around his home. He enjoys traveling and exploring new places. His teenage son, Camden, especially enjoys their trips to the beaches along the southwest Gulf coast of Florida. Taylor, his adult daughter shares his love for all things Disney. Ryan is looking forward to making some international trips with his husband, Noah, in the future.
