Jessica was born and raised in West Lafayette. She attended Harrison High School and Purdue University. She and her husband, Ty, and their three children live in Lafayette. Noah (18) is a senior at McCutcheon, Lucas (14) is an 8th grader at Wea, and Mireya (3) is in preschool. 

She has spent the majority of her career in banking (20+ years) - including retail management, mortgage, sales coaching, and customer service. She spends her free time watching her kids in their many activities and helping Ty with the admin side of his construction business, Rios Custom Construction, which specializes in remodels, fences, decks, flooring, painting, and other custom projects.
