Keshia is from Lafayette, Indiana. Her father was in the military, so as a child she did move around a little and ended up creating her own roots here in Lafayette. She is married and has three daughters and a son. She enjoys doing all kinds of fun activities with her family; like taking them on vacation, going to the theaters to see the newest movies, and really enjoys fishing with her family. It's important to pass down the tradition of fishing from her father to them. She loves cooking huge family meals and entertaining. She's very family oriented.
When she lost her father in 2019 she decided to buy his house that wasn't in the best shape. Keshia, and her husband Mike, saw a vision for the property that she wanted to do in honor of her father. Her husband knew more about fixing up properties and she was eager to learn. As she was tackling this project she was juggling the kids, home life, and working a full time job in nursing which she worked for over 7 years. On top of all that, while working nursing in the Covid unit, she got diagnosed with Covid. Unfortunately, that messed with her balance and she ended up breaking her ankle and knee cap. That still didn't slow her down; she stayed and finished without even taking a break to get the project done in memory of her father. The project was completed in 2020 and she couldn't be more proud of how it turned out.
One of her best attributes is that even though everything was working against her and she was overwhelmed, she never gave up. Though tired, she knew what she wanted. She made the decision to go into Real Estate full time and decided to take classes to get her real estate license.. Keshia went through a lot of battles and will do what it takes to get the job done. If you are looking for an agent who doesn't give up and will fight for you, Keshia will do exactly that for any of her clients.
